According to gemstone publications, bracelets have a history dating back to 5,000 B.C., when the Ancient Egyptians also used bracelets to decorate their bodies with stones. Cleopatra must have liked her bracelets as much as we do for the way she wore her wing eyeliner. Although the Egyptians wore bracelets for mystical reasons, we use them today in a different way.
